I'm A Crusader
I'm a crusader
And I'm here once more,
Challenging your attitude poor
And you're showing your heart won't thaw
Oh my heart of gold,
Was starting to feel a little cold,
Being so receptive makes me easy to mold?
But one should never forget indeed I'm bold..
We danced,
To a tune so doomed,
Pushing and pulling
Power struggles loomed
I thought I really,
Liked your mind,
But started to find,
Your heart so unkind.
When I wanted resolution
And peace,
You told me your time
Was only on lease.
I try to speak
You shut me down
I make a sound
It makes you frown
But when you cry
You expect me to hear
Want your needs met
Right now and here!
Click your fingers
Expect me to come
Tell me to cower
Expect me to run
But treat me not like a teen,
But with respect and who's your age,
An adult to adult conversation,
Like someone who's not afraid.
Then just maybe,
You'll get somewhere,
Otherwise,
It's just so unfair!
Teaching and learning lessons,
Is a mutual thing,
Oh my darling,
Make my heart sing!
Read your cards instead,
If you wish,
Never listening,
To any of this?
This life, real life,
People here,
Let them also guide you,
And you're showing your heart won't thaw
Oh my heart of gold,
Was starting to feel a little cold,
Being so receptive makes me easy to mold?
But one should never forget indeed I'm bold..
Liked your mind,
Your heart so unkind.
